This poem is a reflection on what it really means to be a survivalist and at the end of the world, what might need adding to the prepper list. The text reads:
Close your eyes and imagine this is not happening
Underwear and outerwear in a sealed compression sack
One litre water filter and purification system
Three day dry food supply
Hope
Prescriptions, sunglasses and sunscreen
Toothbrush and paste, baking soda, soap
Sanitising wipes, toilet paper
First response emergency first aid kit including compression bandages
Compact blanket
The smells from your childhood
Headlamp, flashlight, batteries
Fixed blade knife
One hundred feet of paracord
Nylon twine
Kindness
High visibility reflective vest
Maps of the local area
Compass
Pandemic kit personal protective equipment
Work gloves
That photograph from the mantle piece
Emergency bivvy bag and a nylon rip stop poncho
Lightweight camping tarp, weight permitting
Wool hat
Hand-crank radio
Large collapsible soft bottle
Lighter, matchers, tinder
All of the memories from your old life
Ziplock bags, dry sacks and contractor grade rubbish bags
Sewing kit
Pocket fishing equipment
Small mirror
Whistle
Wallow in comfort for the last time
Important personal documents and identification, paper and digital copies
Ten watt solar charging kit, cables
Potassium iodide tablets for nuclear exposure
Sonic defender earplugs
A firm, guiding touch on the shoulder
Safety pins
Credit card wrapped with gorilla tape
Charged burner phone
Cash
Personal miscellanea, a favourite toy, precious items
Love
Walk out into the woods
You can survive three weeks without food
You can survive three days without water
You can survive three hours without shelter
You can survive three minutes without air
You can survive three seconds without me.

Risograph printing has a few quirks that may cause slight imperfections, but will also make every print unique. The ink that Risograph printers use is rice or soy-based and the stencils are made from plant fibers so like newspaper inks, Risograph inks never fully dry and they may smudge slightly if you touch them. If left in direct sunlight the ink could fade over time so it is best to keep Riso prints framed under UV protective glass.
